Previously, Christopher served in successive leadership roles at Alberta Ballet, culminating as Artistic Director. During his tenure, he guided the organization through artistic and organizational transformation, expanding artistic partnerships, strengthening organizational culture, increasing revenue and attendance, advancing equity and transparency, and securing a landmark seed gift to launch the company's endowment campaign. His productions of The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and BOTERO received critical acclaim and helped elevate the company's national and international profile.
Before moving into executive leadership, Christopher enjoyed a sixteen-year professional performing career with Boston Ballet and Ballet West, performing leading classical and contemporary repertoire throughout North America while also beginning his work as a choreographer and mentor.
Today, Christopher works with individuals and organizations seeking meaningful alignment through impact, connection, and partnership. Whether in the performing arts, higher education, or other mission-driven organizations, he is drawn to opportunities that strengthen people, cultivate healthy cultures, and build organizations that are both exceptional in their work and deeply connected to the communities they serve.
